Beginning his college career at Franklin and Marshall College, he transferred to the Peabody Conservatory and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance degree.
He attended mortuary school at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude in September, 2007.
