Mary D. Bingman, age 97, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg. Born October 24, 1914 in Wrightsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late A. Edward and A. Margaret (Howard) Dellinger.
She taught at numerous elementary schools for twenty-three years, and retired from Shepherdstown Elementary School. Mary was a member of Shepherdstown United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg, United Methodist Women and the Ever Ready Sunday School Class.
She was the widow of The Rev. Stewart F. Bingman, and is survived by her children Jane E. Guerin, Philadelphia PA, Ruth A. Gerardi, Severna Park, MD, and Robert S. Bingman, Etters PA and eight grandchildren
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012 at Shepherdstown United Methodist Church, where there will be a viewing from 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown, PA at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
