Doris M. Rubel, age 86, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at her home. She was born on January 22, 1926 in Lancaster.
Doris was known as an excellent dog trainer, at one time owning and operating the West Shore Dog Obedience School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Aaron “Bud” Rubel. Surviving is her son, Jan and wife Diane; daughters Sydney and Nadine and her husband Ritchie; grandchildren Keith and wife Cheryl, Adam and wife Charity, Erin and husband Clint, Nickole and husband Jeff, Alesha, and Jamie Lynn; as well as 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with burial in Dillsburg Cemetery.
