Louise Hersh, age 78 of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at her home. Born April 8, 1934 in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Ludwig and Tillie (Miller) Schick.

Louise was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg where she was active with the Markettes and was a member of the Susquehanna Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society.

Surviving are her husband William A. Hersh; a daughter Diane Hersh Wiest and husband Bruce of Halifax, a son Stephen Paul Hersh and wife Misty of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren Neil Wiest, Bruce Wiest and Spencer Hersh; five great grandchildren Gabrielle, Isabelle, Jaxson, Kahleigh and Aryah Wiest.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 117 W. Keller Street, Mechanicsburg with her pastor the Rev. Randall J. Marburger officiating. There will be a viewing from 11:00 until time of services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
